OUR STORY

Pinkmans was founded with a simple mission: to create exceptional baked goods using traditional methods, quality ingredients and plenty of passion. What began as a small independent bakery quickly built a reputation for doing things properly, from long fermented sourdough to our now famous sourdoughnuts.

Today, Pinkmans has grown to four cafés across Bristol, but our approach remains the same. We believe in proper ingredients, proper food and a real passion for what we do.

We work closely with suppliers who share our focus on quality and sustainability. We partner with The Newt, who prioritise locally grown ingredients and use apple by-products from cider making, which we incorporate into some of our baked goods. We are also proud to serve Yallah Coffee, a speciality roaster based in Cornwall who champion transparency, source exceptional single origin beans and even import some coffee by sail. We also work with Degusta, a Bristol-based importer who source directly from growers and focus on sustainability, quality and flavour.

Across our cafés you’ll find artisan breads, pastries, sweet treats and breakfasts alongside vibrant lunch options and office catering. Our counters are stocked daily with freshly made focaccia sandwiches, toasties, seasonal salads and cakes.

At Pinkmans we aim to create welcoming spaces where people can come together over great food and delicious coffee.
